Hello Everyone,

I'm back! I will try to keep up with all my posts from now on.

While I was away, trying to sort out my Tea Life, I tried David's Tea 2015 Fall Collection. The collection has five teas and are a blend of fall fruits with black tea or green tea.

The box of the collection is interesting. It has earthy tones with pine cones and pine leaves on it with the writing on the box claiming that the teas inside will deliever cozy and comfort. Having never tried David's or any other Fall flavoured teas I was intrigued to try these teas. So I bought the box and tried all these self proclaimed amazing, tasty, and cozy teas. I must say all but one cozied me up.

Cranberry Orange Muffin

This tea is just that, a Cranberry and Orange Muffin. The tea gives off a beautiful warm red colour when steeped. The citrusy aroma calms your senses right away. But it is the taste of cranberry that warms you on that chilly Autumn night. There isn't actually any physical tea in this beautiful blend of Fall fruits and spices, which makes it a perfect Herbal Tea. My mother, my 10 years old cousin, and I absolutley loved this tea. In the words of my cousin the tea tastes and smells like 'happy'. This tea is caffeine free.

Nutty By Nature

This amazing blend of fruits, nuts, and mate tea from Brazil will have you want for more. The tea is truely inffused with the soothing smells of apricots and monk fruit from China. The pairing of these soothing aromas with earthy flavours of almonds, hazelnuts, and macadamia nuts leaves a warmth and sweethness in your mouth long after you're done with the tea. If you're not a nut lover; however, do not go for this tea. It is all nuts! Literally! This is a blend of Mate Tea.

Peanut Buttercup

I have to say I was skeptical of this tea. I'm not a huge fan of peanuts, let alone peanuts with chocolate. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this tea. I had a feeling it would taste like Reese Peanut Buttercup Chocolate melted in water but I was proved wrong. In fact this tea reminded me of a childhood treate. The smell was earthy and (if I dare say it for a tea) sexy, whereas the taste was a mix of secrets. You taste a hint of roasted peanuts while drinking the tea but it is the after taste that makes it so special. The after taste is the taste of pure and luscious chocolate and who doesn't like that. My mother and I enjoyed this luxurious tea just before going to bed. This is also a Herbal Tea and caffeine free.

Pumpkin Chai

This tea is, as my cousin describes it, smells and tastes 'yummy'. Autumn is not Autumn if there's no Pumpkin in it. So Fall Tea Collection won't be Fall Tea Collection without a Pumpkin Tea. This tea is perfect for the slight pick me up with some spice and pumpkin in it. What makes the tea absolutely adorable is the little pumpkin shaped redish orangey candies. The black tea brings in the caffeine and the cinnamon and cloves bring out the spicy taste in the tea. I would say this is a perfect tea for Pumpkin lovers. For me it was a yummy tea but not something I would buy again.

Honeycrisp Apple

I love Apple Crisps, absolutely adore the dessert. However, the taste and smell of a fresh apples is very different than the taste and smell of stored, ziplocked apples that's been steeped in water. I am sure people are loving this tea all over the country but I could not take another sip of this tea. The smell or the taste, nothing worked for me with this tea. I smelled rotton apples while the tea steeped and I tasted rotton sweet apple infused water when I took a sip of this tea. The tea has such a beautiful blend of apple, pear, blackberry leaf, green tea, and hibiscus; however, it just did not agree with my taste buds. My mother made a face just after smelling it and my cousin claimed that it smelled like 'garbage'. Having said that, just because this tea was a total dud with my family doesn't mean that it's not a popular or likeable tea. In fact, do try this tea and let me know how you like it.

May be it is all the other teas you wouldn't like as much as I did. All in all I think David's Tea's Fall Collection is really good. I also think it is best to buy the box of all five teas before buying a full tin of one or all the teas. Each bag of tea gives you about 5 cups of tea, which is enough tea cups for you to decide which tea you like the most. If you like them all, stock up because these are seasonal teas. If there is one or two teas you like the most then at least you haven't wasted a whole lot of money in buying 100g of each tea. And if you don't like any tea in the collection then you can always give the box to a tea lover friend. The box includes 5 teas plus 20 biodegradable tea bags. The box is $28+tax. That's only around $30 for 25 cups of teas and 20 biodegradable tea bags.

Anyways this is all for today. Do share your experience of the collection or just teas in general. I will be starting a tea series on Bulk Barn Loose Teas. So keep reading and give me your feedback.

Happy tea sipping!
